Experience And Qualifications
- 7 years of experience in agency, startup, or early-stage product settings designing consumer-facing digital experiences, ideally with new-to-market products.
- Proficiency in collaborating with cross-functional teams, product managers, and engineers strategically.
- Capable of translating insights and data into design decisions to impact product and business strategies.
- Expertise in creating successful and engaging experiences across various platforms (iOS, Android, Mobile web).
- Demonstrated ability to manage other designers through hands-on mentorship and leadership.
- Strong skills in UX, information hierarchy, and customer journey mapping.
- Proficient in visual design with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to iterate quickly and generate multiple concepts and solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the capacity to articulate and defend design decisions.
- Proficiency in Figma, Zeplin, and Jira.
- Collaborate closely with team leads and internal stakeholders to develop empathetic, simple, and human-centric design solutions shaping the product experience.
- Work alongside fellow designers to produce conceptual wireframes, prototypes, and final designs for consumer-facing websites and mobile apps by considering user needs, business objectives, and technical limitations.
- Take ownership of product features from conception to launch, ensuring the delivery of meaningful and high-quality experiences.
- Contribute to the establishment, utilization, and maintenance of a design system that maintains a consistent and on-brand experience across all digital platforms, including websites and mobile apps.
- Drive innovation by asking insightful questions, taking calculated risks, and advocating for new ideas to enhance the user experience.
- Provide and seek feedback from fellow designers, product management, and engineering during regular reviews and stand-up meetings.
- Engage in design workshops to explore creative solutions for identified problems and opportunities based on research and data analysis.
