DescriptionYou will play a crucial role in providing support as a Linux SRE Support Engineer. This position requires a strong foundation in Linux, along with troubleshooting and scripting skills. You will be responsible for incident management, on-call support, and ensuring the reliability of systems through effective task automation.

- Extensive knowledge of Linux commands (awk, sed, ps, lsof, netstat)
- Proficient in scripting languages (Bash, Python)
- Strong troubleshooting capabilities
- Familiarity with databases
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with incident management processes
- Practical experience in at least one pillar of observability (metrics, logs, or traces)
- Python development for task automation
- Experience with site reliability engineering practices, including service level objectives (SLOs), error budgets, and blameless postmortems
- Prior experience creating operational dashboards (e.g., Splunk, Grafana)
- Experience administering and/or supporting ServiceNow
- Provide on-call support and troubleshooting for Linux systems
- Automate tasks using programming languages
- Collaborate effectively with team members to resolve issues
- Exhibit working knowledge in areas such as SQL, REST services (API), load balancing, and performance troubleshooting
- Create and maintain operational dashboards to monitor system performance.
