INSIDE SALES SUPPORT REPRESENTATIVE’S JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist the Inside Sales Team in maintaining and increasing sales of fuel systems parts and equipment opportunities pipeline

• Assist in answering sales calls/emails, addressing and resolving customer questions, and recommending the best parts and equipment to support their needs

• Support the Inside Sales Team in quoting complex fueling systems parts and equipment (tank gauges, tanks, UST, dispensers, suction pumps, fuel management, etc.)

• Prepare estimates and deliver quotations and proposals to customers and follow up to close deals in a timely manner

• Work with manufacturers to acquire pricing for estimates

• Process and provide troubleshooting assistance for customer orders and respond to customer inquiries

• Maintain sales-related databases and provide data and guidance to the Inside Sales Team

• Maintain accurate and detailed customer accounts

• Build and maintain customer relationships

• Coordinate with operations personnel regarding updated parts and equipment and parts and equipment availability
• Perform other duties assigned as assigned by the manager

INSIDE SALES SUPPORT REPRESENTATIVE’S SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1-3 years minimum experience working in a professional sales-oriented environment

• Proven experience in sales and business management, knowledge of the sales cycle, sales reporting, estimating, and how to close deals in a professional manner

• Sales experience with fueling systems parts and equipment; fuel dispensers; fuel hoses; fuel nozzles; fuel pumps; fuel tank gauges & alarms; fuel valves & fittings; fuel monitoring system; tank & line monitoring system; meter calibration; various other types of equipment in fueling facility preferred

• Strong project management, new business development, and customer retention skills

• Effective communication and negotiation skills — verbal and written

• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills

• Good time management skills

• Critical thinker, problem-solver, and attention to detail

• Good memory skill

• Excellent customer service skills

• Proficient computer skills including MS Office

• Self-motivated, solution-orientated individual
