Medical Assistant

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team in a dynamic healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to healthcare professionals, ensuring efficient patient care delivery and maintaining high standards of service. This role offers the opportunity to work in both clinic and hospital settings, including a Level II Trauma Center, where you will play a vital role in assisting with patient services and medical procedures.

Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures in clinic and hospital environments.
- Utilize your knowledge of anatomy and medical-surgical practices to support accurate patient care.
- Perform X-Ray procedures under the supervision of licensed professionals.
- Code medical information and maintain accurate records using electronic systems.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care delivery.
- Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries and concerns effectively.
- Contribute to the efficient operation of medical facilities by following established protocols.

Qualifications:
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or relevant certification.
- Prior experience working in a hospital or clinic setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in medical coding and electronic health record systems.
- Strong understanding of hospital medicine practices and procedures.
- Familiarity with X-Ray technology and its applications in healthcare.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and service delivery.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments and prioritize tasks accordingly.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, systems, and processes.

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
