Human Resources Coordinator

• Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties.
• Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies).
• Assist with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations.
• Properly handle complaints and grievance procedures and report incidents immediately.
• Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees, helping with the understanding of company benefits, payroll processes, and company policies based on employee handbook.
• Collaborate and assist with facility recruiting efforts.
• Ensure all new hire paperwork and background checks are complete.
• Assemble, audit, and maintain new hire personnel files for all active projects.
• Guide, investigate, and report workplace injuries within 24 hours of the incident. Keep accurate OSHA 300 log records and incident reports.
• Assist with in-service training and maintain all records.

Payroll Coordinator

• Review employee time cards and check for accuracy.
• Record changes affecting wages, which may include, taxes, direct deposits, wage increases, etc.
• Review payroll registers and correct errors to ensure accuracy of payroll.
• Other tasks and duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years’ experience in a human resources or employee relations role
• Must have knowledge of Human Resource programs and regulations such as FMLA and COBRA
• Experience in healthcare (Long Term Care preferred)
• Must be familiar with full cycle recruitment and discipline/corrective action
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
• Must communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines and possess excellent organizational skills.
