RNG PLANT OPERATOR

We are working with a rapidly growing renewable energy company to find a skilled Plant Operator for a state-of-the-art Renewable Natural Gas facility where they harness the power of nature's most organic fuel source! If you possess an electrical background and / or operations & maintenance experience, we would love to speak with you about this opportunity!

Responsibilities :

• Monitor the operation of anaerobic digesters, gas purification systems, and other plant equipment to ensure proper functioning
• Operate various plant equipment and machinery, including pumps, valves, compressors, blowers, generators, etc.
• Troubleshoot operational issues or malfunctions
• Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulations
• Monitor temperature, pressure, flow rates, and gas composition
• Keep accurate records of O&M activities
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations
• Respond promptly to emergencies, alarms, and abnormal conditions; mitigate risks and minimize downtime

Requirements :

• HS Diploma (or equivalent)
• 3 years of industrial electrical & mechanical experience (motors, blowers, controls & pumps)
• Knowledge of anaerobic digesters, gas compression, chromatographs, flow meters, preferred
• PLC experience
• Pass a physical, drug screen, and background check
