Position: Operations Supervisor

Location: Sacramento, CA

Are you ready to take charge of operations at a biomass power plant in Northern California? We're seeking an Operations Supervisor to ensure the seamless production of steam and electricity from biomass sources.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead, mentor, and guide a team of operational staff
• Set performance expectations & conduct performance evaluations
• Monitor and supervise the day-to-day activities for efficiency
• Coordinate the dispatch of equipment and manage equipment start-up/shutdown
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and industry regulations
• Schedule and coordinate routine maintenance, repairs, and equipment inspections
• Monitor the performance of plant equipment
• Lead operations team in responding to emergencies, equipment failures, and safety incidents
• Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams
• Identify opportunities for operational enhancements and cost-saving measures

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5 years of supervisory experience
• Plant operations experience
• Power generation, biomass boiler, steam turbine experience
