Job Summary: The Warehouse Worker is responsible for carrying out the logistics of receiving and processing all merchandise coming in or going out.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Loading or unloading merchandise for transport or warehouse inventory
• Managing all product with appropriate care
• Identifying damaged materials and immediately notify Shipping Coordinator
• Ensuring all merchandise is safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping
• Collaborating with co-workers, supervisors, and personnel for a smooth workflow
• Inspecting warehouse and reporting any issue to the supervisors
• Maintaining and operating warehouse machinery and equipment for tasks
• Adhering to all safety procedures and regulations
• Cleaning the warehouse and keeping organized
• Keep the company quality policies in mind while working
• Stay up to date and follow best practices

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Must have knowledge of hand tools to build custom plywood box crates to house merchandise for shipping transport
• Knowledge of operating a forklift and or pallet jack a plus

Education and Experience:

• Prior experience working in a warehouse required

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work on feet for 8 hours and carry loads up to 80 pounds
• Some heavy lifting will be required to unload/load cargo off/on delivery trucks not accessible by forklift

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Warehouse experience: 2 years (Preferred)
