Position OverviewReporting to our SR Human Resources Leader, the HR Specialist (Culture & Employee Engagement) will be a creative, team-oriented, and motivated professional who thrives in a dynamic environment. The HR Specialist will work directly with our Human Resources Department and employees across the business to help design and deliver an engaging and rewarding employee experience that aligns with our culture and values. The successful candidate cares deeply about building culture and has experience developing employee programs from the ground up for in-person and virtual delivery. Part of this role is modeling the values and culture that we are building and supporting Global Tekmed Holdings which means being able to problem solve, demonstrate flexibility in your approach and deliver quality work under tight deadlines - all with good grace and humor. Relationships matter and you’ll have to be skilled at building them quickly across all levels of the organization.
Locations: New Mexico Area/ Las Cruces, NM
Job Type: Full-time (40 hours per week). This is an hybrid position. Must be located in reasonable distance to Las Cruces.
Essential Functions
  • Embed our values and build our culture.
  • Conduct training sessions on HR-related topics
  • Optimize the experience for our employees through getting to know them, what motivates them, and what derails them.
  • Partnering with the HR team, create and deliver fun and engaging employee experiences that create an engaged, connected, inclusive, aligned, and motivated employee base.
  • Partnering with HR & Finance to create and help with planning of employee benefits enrollment events.
  • Project manage employee engagement initiatives - initial ideation and planning, logistics and technology requirements, and event execution.
  • Analyze, prioritize and take action based on employee feedback.
  • Manage programs that focus on promoting employee appreciation and recognition.
  • Assist HR Generalist with new hire onboarding and off-boarding tasks and programs.
  • Expertise in developing and implementing employee engagement programs
  • Assist with recruitment and onboarding processes
Work Experience
  • Minimum two (2) years of Human Resources experience, including:
  • Experience in employee onboarding.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship building skills
  • Strong client management skills
  • Experience in human resources, or communications is highly preferred.
  • Multi-state experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Knowledge of HR laws and regulations
  • Perform other HR-related duties as assigned
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
