**Inventory Control Manager**

at GTL Grand Prairie, TX GTL is seeking a Inventory Control / WMS Manager to join our growing team in Grand Prairie, TX. The person will oversee inventory accuracy by managing daily cycle count and inventory reconciliation. This position will also work to improve and or establish the end-to-end inventory management processes including transactional accountability, inventory counts, and discrepancy investigations. This person will work with various departments to drive development of cycle count programs and manage performance. The position will also be supporting all aspects of the warehouse operations using existing WMS knowledge to help drive an efficient operation as well as overcoming any system hurdles

**Responsibilities:**

* Coordinate and manage daily physical cycle counts.

* Collaborate with warehouse management to drive best practices in terms of receiving, shipping, and inventory management that support the achievement of inventory accuracy goals.

* Research transaction history to determine source of any inventory variances or location transfer errors.

* Report on monthly inventory KPIs.

* Audit inventory transactions for accuracy and timeliness, ensuring a high level of inventory accuracy is maintained.

* Facilitate formal problem solving, root cause analysis and the implementation of corrective actions for all inventory discrepancies or related process failures.

* Responsible for overall inventory control and storage of materials, including reconciliation with data systems.

* Monitor inventory utilization with distribution centers and field personnel. Regularly communicate with field to implement improvements and training as needed

* Provide support as needed to multiple internal departments on issues related to inventory movement and accuracy

* Identify root cause analysis of part shortages

* Document problems and distribute follow-up information to appropriate employees

* Research reports to identify operational issues throughout production departments

* Prepare related reports, graphs, charts, presentations, and other documents to support analysis

* Application testing with IT, remote and local users

* Will work closely with the operations team to support implementation, training and the transition to D365 Advance Warehouse module

* Support new release testing against current requirements

**Qualifications:**

* Bachelors degree with Operations, Business, or inventory related field preferred, will consider a combination of education and experience in lieu of degree

* A minimum of 8 years of experience in materials management, to include inventory control experience

* Experience using MS Dynamics 365

* Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), order management applications, and database systems required

* Experience preparing, importing, and manipulating information in spreadsheets, databases, and presentations

* Ability to analyze, create, and document effective SOPs

* Strong organizational skills, high level of accuracy and detailed orientated

* Proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

* Strong work ethic combined with a high level of professionalism

* Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others

* Ability to identify process shortfalls and submit workable changes

* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with rapidly changing priorities
