Job Description :

1. Installs and maintains a wide variety of pumps, blowers, motors, machine shop and other mechanical equipment.

2. Erects and secures staging, hoists and rigging in compliance with codes and safety practices.

3. Fabricates and installs hangers, brackets and other securing devices to secure equipment as necessary. Shims and balances equipment as necessary. Uses welding, cutting and other equipment as required

4. Performs a variety of complex masonry work required to maintain or extend building use.

5. Schedules and plans fertilizing, mowing, pruning and other related ground maintenance activities.

6. Oversees the installation and movement of a variety of light, medium and heavy equipment using special tools and equipment such as staging, hoists and rigging.

7. Works from blueprints, equipment drawings and schematics, manufacturers specifications and literature.

Plans complex jobs, selects materials and equipment for proper completion.

8. Ensures that the performance of these activities are well documented.

9. Collects, sorts and stores hazardous waste material in accordance with federal, state and local regulations.

10. May be required to clean and service equipment that may contain hazardous substances and to participate in the sorting and accumulation of hazardous waste materials in accordance with federal, state and local regulations.

11. Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.

Required Skill Set :

Requires a High School or Trade School diploma or its equivalent and at least five (5) years of general maintenance experience.

Both introductory and continued training in cleaning and servicing equipment that may contain hazardous substances and in the handling, documentation and movement of the hazardous waste will be required.

This training will be provided by IEWS, and documentation will be maintained in the corporate Environmental Affairs Office.

Desired Skills Set :

Remove fixtures such as pictures, doorknobs, lamps, and electric switch covers prior to painting

• Bases knowledge of sheet rock replacement or repair.

• Assist with Modular & Systems Furniture Moves

• Repair toilets and urinals facets as needed.

• Replace lights as needed.

• Repair or Replace ceiling tiles as needed.

• Provide General maintenance in the facility (adjust and oil doors, carpet repairs, hang signage, etc.).

• Set up for major events as needed.

• Work and escort contractors / vendors.

* Calculate amounts of required materials and estimate costs

• Work and support the IMT/BCM teams.

* Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.

Troubleshooting devices, making necessary repairs/modifications

• Manual labor Moving equipment around, set up Plumbing, assembly …etc. of older equipment upgrades and installing new equipment

• Working with equipment manufacturers

• Sourcing and chasing down components

• Performing and tracking equipment maintenance and plans, lockout/tagout activity

• Helping out with CSI duties

• Do touch ups around the site as needed,

Education Qualification :
Requires a High School or Trade School diploma or its equivalent and at least three (3) years of general maintenance experience.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
