Advanced Technology is seeking a multi-disciplinary Engineering Project Leader that is responsible for the capture and execution of small-to-medium size contracts in support of research and development programs. In this role, you will be a key member of our AT team, responsible for identifying, shaping and driving proposals and winning technology programs. This position supports our Advanced Materials sub-business area, as well as our Advanced Integrated Systems sub-business area. Technologies are quite varied based on customer needs. Examples include: Durable Optical and RF/EO Transparent Materials, Special Forces decision-making and AI techniques, small SWAP Edge computing devices and processing, ground-based layered BMC systems technologies and Systems of Systems integrated kill-chains/operational analysis. This role is Hybrid and located in Tewksbury, MA. What You Will Do Lead engineering teams in architecting concepts and solutions for customer-identified technology problems and warfighter gaps Lead cross-functional teams in creation of customer-enticing white papers and winning proposals Lead program teams in successful execution of technology-based contracts Develop strong, trusting relationships with customers, competition, industry and government partners to gather business intelligence and architect winning teams Develop and lead internal investment projects, such as Internal Research and Development and Capital, to bolster winning new business and program execution Support Advanced Technology Mission Area Directors in developing and executing strategy, achieving financial commitments and managing to budgets Support Advanced Technology Mission Area Directors with internal and external communications and business reporting Guide, apprentice, mentor, and train employees across all functions to enable innovative, flexible and high-performing team results Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Qualifications We Prefer Experience in high-performance DoD systems development across multiple domains and across the kill chain Experience across full-scale systems engineering design and development Experience driving DoD TINA-compliant cost estimating and pricing Experience with writing and leading proposals both large and small Experience leading and developing cross-functional teams Experience managing technical, cross-discipline development programs Raytheon or other DoD/Industry Program Management Certification Demonstrated excellence in interacting with customers and decision makers Excellent communication ability in verbal, written and presentation formats Knowledge of DoD/Intelligence Community operational concepts Experience working with the DoD and Intelligence Community Science and Technology organizations/agencies such as ONR, DARPA and SCO Advanced degrees such as MS or PhD in STEM or other related engineering field(s) Existing, or the ability to obtain, a TS/SCI Security Clearance What We Offer Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
