We are seeking a PeopleSoft Absence Management Consultant to support the implementation of a new Sick Leave Policy within PeopleSoft Absence Management. This one-month contract offers an opportunity to work remotely, providing expert consulting services to ensure seamless alignment of the Absence Management system with updated sick leave guidelines.

Project Scope

You will be responsible for reviewing and updating the PeopleSoft Absence Management configuration, integration, and processing for leaves in accordance with the new policy guidelines effective September 1st, 2024. The goal is to ensure the system accurately maintains sick leave, short-term disability (STD), and Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) entitlements, balances, and usage. The consultant will also provide knowledge transfer and best practices to improve system efficiency and reduce manual processes.

Responsibilities

• Review the current PeopleSoft Absence Management configuration and its integration with Time & Labor and Payroll for North America
• Design, test, and implement updates to the Absence Management system to align with the new sick leave policy
• Ensure accurate tracking and maintenance of sick leave, STD, and FMLA entitlements
• Provide expert advice on best practices for utilizing PeopleSoft-delivered functionality
• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions covering setup, configuration, integration, issue resolution, and process optimization

Required Skills and Experience

• Extensive functional and technical knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM 9.2, specifically in Payroll, Absence Management, and Time & Labor.
• Proven experience in configuring and integrating Absence Management systems within large organizations
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Excellent communication skills for effective knowledge transfer and collaboration with the payroll and benefits teams
