Position Summary :

The Material Expeditor compiles and maintains material and parts inventory and status information to expedite movement of material and parts to production areas.

This position requires the individual to be a team player with the ability to function well in a challenging and fast paced environment.

Essential Functions :

• Locates and distributes materials to specified production areas, manually or using handcart, handtruck, or forklift
• Examines material received, verifies parts numbers, checks discrepancies such as damaged or unmarked parts, and assembles material for kits
• Compares Production Order specifications to material used at work stations to verify appropriate batch assignment
• Works with supervision and the Production Coordinator Manager to resolve problems with product flow through Inspection
• Fulfills requests for materials and supporting materials audits
• Uses component serialization / marking
• Maintains a clean and organized work space
• Assists manufacturing and shipping personnel as needed to meet production and shipping schedules
• Works closely with other Operations departments
• Adheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies.

Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role

Represents the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties

Qualifications :

• High school Diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to lift up to 80lbs
• Ability to use a pallet jack
• Familiarity of Windows & Microsoft Office suites
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work with a high degree of organizational and technical competence
• Attention to detail
• Self-starter
• Advanced critical thinking and problems-solving skills
