Position Summary :

The Production & Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for all activities related to material movement in Methuen.

This effort includes, but is not limited to, Production Control, Inventory Control, Shipping, Receiving and Cycle Count.

This individual works with Production, Accounting, Sales, Purchasing and Engineering to ensure control of materials.

Essential Functions :

  • Plans and manages production orders to ensure on-time delivery of customer orders.
  • Analyzes sales order releases with respect to material requirements.
  • Receives and issues Finished Goods into computer database.
  • Interfaces with Production personnel, purchasing personnel, etc. on material status and production planning issues.
  • Oversees the day to day operations of all warehousing, inventory and cycle count functions.
  • Maintains inventory accuracy by organizing the predetermined physical counts; reconciling variances; inputting data through cycle count and physical inventory programs.
  • Reviews and approves quantities of parts issued and transferred between locations, inventory and cycle count adjustments, into computer database.
  • Troubleshoots quantity discrepancies with manufacturing and inspection personnel.
  • Prepares and participates in yearly physical inventory as applicable.
  • Promotes a team environment within the department
  • Cooperates and assists all departments in resolving material related issues.
  • Adheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies.
  • Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role
  • Represents the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties

Qualifications :

  • Associates Degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience with Production Orders, Cycle Counting, Inventory Control, Shipping & Receiving
  • Familiarity with standard business operations software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Self-starter
  • Advanced critical thinking and problems-solving skills
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, Outlook and ERP systems
