Glocap is Hiring a Human Resources Recruitment Coordinator Near New York, NY

Our client, a premier and well-established investment management firm, is looking for an HR & Recruitment Coordinator for operational support to the Human Resources Business Partner team. The role spans recruitment and non-recruitment tasks, including coordinating communications, interview logistics, and oversight of paperwork. The hire will lead reporting and presentation of people data.

POSITION: HR & Recruitment Coordinator:

LOCATION: New York, NY

HOURS: 8:30am – 5:30pm/6pm (4 days in 1 day remote)

COMPENSATION: $70-110K DOE Strong Benefits

Responsibilities of the HR & Recruitment Coordinator

The role provides full global support to the HRBPs team, including:

  • Coordinating interviews and supporting recruitment processes
  • Posting open positions and managing responses
  • Managing new positions and providing new hire/termination details for processing
  • Executing commercial agreements in partnership with Legal
  • Issuing candidate assessments
  • Providing training on the use of our internal system
  • Assisting in the preparation of offer letters
  • Ensuring that right to work checks / immigration checks are completed
  • Conducting background checks on new hires and annual repeat checks
  • Maintaining contact with upcoming joiners throughout their onboarding process - Drafting new hire announcements
  • Supporting governance reporting by providing information on joiners, leavers, current headcount and open roles
  • Supporting immigration and business travel requirements
  • Maintaining current HR files and databases
  • Coordinating feedback sessions with new joiners
  • Tracking probation periods and feedback sessions
  • Managing aspects of offboarding processes
  • Updating the HR sections of our monthly newsletter
  • Updating policies and procedures
  • HR Project support
  • Supporting HRBPs on strategic items they are managing
  • Supporting the HRBPs on administration and coordination for annual processes

Requirements of the HR & Recruitment Coordinator

  • Around 1-2 years’ experience of administrative operations in staffing or Human Resources
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with HRIS strongly preferred
  • Must be highly proficient in calendaring
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail is an absolute must
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  • Verification of identity, education, prior employment, and references may be required
