Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Assistant to provide support and assistance to individuals in need. As a Personal Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping clients with various tasks and activities to improve their quality of life. This is a paid position.

Duties:
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Administer medications as prescribed
- Assist with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and social outings
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including tidying up living spaces
- Help with childcare responsibilities, if needed
- Provide dementia care for clients with memory impairments
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals and social workers to ensure comprehensive care
- Support clients in nursing home or home care settings

Skills:
- Experience in meal preparation and understanding of dietary restrictions
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality
- Ability to lift and assist clients with mobility limitations
- Proficiency in medication administration techniques
- Familiarity with social work principles and practices
- Understanding of home care procedures and protocols
- Experience in childcare or working with children is a plus
- Knowledge of dementia care techniques and strategies
- Strong caregiving skills and ability to provide compassionate support
