GLOVIS EV Logistics America LLC is an integrated logistics company located in Savannah, Georgia. We provide Tier 1 logistic, warehousing and inventory services to Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA). GLOVIS EV Logistics America was established on October 6, 2022.

Department: Vehicle Processing Center (VPC)

Reports to: Planning Assistant Manager

Job Summary: This position will be responsible for recording and maintaining accurate parts inventory in the warehouse, VPC line, and PIO locations, using Excel spreadsheets and the VELES and AMOS systems. It will also include understanding our scanning procedures and evaluating part layouts for improved flow of parts to vehicles as they enter the processes.

Key Responsibilities :

• Review and ensure daily parts inventory counts in the warehouse, VPC line, and PIO locations.
• Maintain spreadsheets documenting inventory counts for management and supplier review.
• Report part shortages/issues to management for immediate evaluation and root causes.
• Work daily with VELES inventory system for (parts receiving, parts transfer, and parts adjustment) to make proper entries for inventory accuracy and maintenance.
• Maintain PIO inventory levels with accurate reporting.
• Ensure team is trained and matrix is updated correctly for all team members.
• Maintain 5S in your areas with Safety as a priority as well.
• Understand department KPI's to set goals for 100% safety, efficiency, cost, quality, and people development.
• Communicate all inventory issues as needed.
• Focus on setting priorities for your team and processes that impact our operations.

Qualifications :

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Operations or similar field or equivalent combination of experience and education preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year manufacturing/automotive experience preferred.
• Knowledge of customer service and support regulations and compliance standards.
• Commitment to excellence and high standards.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.
• Ability to work with all levels of management.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to effectively resent information and respond to questions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of products including Outlook, Word, Excel, SQL and PowerPoint.
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constant changing priorities with enthusiasm.

This role routinely uses standard office equipment, including a laptop computer and cell phone. The employee is generally required to spend long periods of time sitting, typing, and working at a computer. May require the ability to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds and transport items. The estimated base salary range for this job is $65,500-$73,000 . The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that GLOVIS EA reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel.
