We are looking for CNC Lathe Operators for our day shift.

Summary/Objective: Set up and operate a CNC lathe machine to manufacture Aerospace parts while following company guidelines, safety requirements, quality requirements, and production standards.

Essential Functions:

  • Read and follow traveler instructions
  • Load and unload material and parts
  • Measure and document inspection data for self and peers
  • Measure, document, maintain or improve on established production standards
  • Read and interpret almost all blueprint dimensions, symbols, and notes
  • Document counts
  • Organize, clean, and maintain work area
  • Complete discrepant tag information
  • Communicate with MSD on tooling needs and offer suggestions
  • Communicate with Engineering on issues, needs, and improvements
  • Perform All Set Ups
  • Other functions as deemed appropriate
  • Mazak experience strongly preferred

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2 or more Years CNC Lathe Set up and Operator Experience in an Aerospace Manufacturing Environment
  • Experience operating Mazak or Mori machines preferred
  • High school diploma / GED

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand for long periods of time; walk; use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

This position requires the ability to lift products and supplies, up to 50 pounds. May be subject to atmospheric conditions such as fumes, odors and dust.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time hourly position. The regular shift is Monday – Friday, 5:00 am – 1:30 pm. Occasional extra hours and weekends may be worked as well.

Pay Range: $23 - $29/hour, DOE
