Calibration Technician

Overview

We are seeking a Calibration Technician/Tool Crib Assistant to join our team at our facility located in Gilbert, AZ, 85233. As a Calibration Technician/Tool Crib Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of various equipment and instruments used in our operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibration and adjustment of equipment and instruments according to established procedures
• Document calibration results and maintain accurate records
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues, and if possible repair equipment as needed
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure equipment is functioning properly
• Grind, sharpen, set and issue the various tools required for use on the CNC Mills and Lathes
• Maintain tooling, order tools and properly store tools
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3 years experience setting up, operating and calibrating test equipment, preferably in Aerospace manufacturing environment
• Must be able to read blueprints and interpret standards and specifications
• Knowledge of CNC Machine tooling
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good organization and communication skills
• Due to compliance with US export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a US Person which is defined as a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

Salary info:

$20 - $29 / hr
