As a Human Resources Business Partner, you will work closely with our leadership on the management and engagement of teammates within our New York market. This includes facilitating the hiring, onboarding, training, development, performance, compensation, safety, recognition, retention, and separation of teammates. It also involves analyzing data, metrics, and feedback to identify opportunities, solve challenges, and offer insights on our talent.
For You To Be Successful, We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of generalist experience in a related HR role
  • HR experience in high-growth, service-related industry
  • HR certification preferred (PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP)
You Must Also Be Able To
  • Ensure alignment of HR strategies and practice with the overall business strategy and values
  • Work closely with management and teammates to enhance relationships, boost morale, and increase overall productivity, engagement, diversity, inclusion, and retention of teammates
  • Work with management to gain/share perspective and address market/district/site-level needs, and provide guidance and interpretations on employment-related programs and practices
  • Maintain and apply in-depth knowledge of employment practices and legal requirements, work with managers to minimize legal risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Partner with field management in preventing job-related injuries/illnesses, identifying, and delivering safety training and managing the Workers’ Compensation claim process.
  • Support management in setting expectations, measuring performance, providing development, and planning succession for teammates, providing ongoing feedback and support
  • Partner with hiring managers and recruiters to engage, select, hire, and onboard external and internal talent to meet business needs effectively and efficiently.
  • Provide performance, development, and compensation guidance to management, including coaching, counseling, corrective actions, development plans, promotions, etc.
  • Manage and resolve employee relations issues; conduct effective and thorough investigations.
  • Coordinate and conduct stay conversations and exit interviews to understand why talent stays or leaves, share insights and solutions with management.
  • Act as cultural ambassador for GO, telling the GO story and providing meaningful connections and exceptional work experiences for teammates, candidates, and others.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of HR practices and federal, state, and local employment laws with ability to apply in disparate situations.
  • Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem solving.

  • Strength in managing multiple, varying, and sometimes competing priorities.
  • Strong service orientation, with the ability to work and commute across a multiple site market.
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently, yet work collaboratively, consultatively, and inclusively across teams.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and converse with all levels and functions of leadership, teammates, and candidates.
  • Advance HRIS, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), etc. skills;
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and resiliency
  • Ability to drive/travel to sites
This Is a Field-based RoleYou will spend 80% of your time working at our car washes within your market. This includes time spent driving to, from and between sites. The 20% of your time will be spent working from your home office.
While you are onsite you may be asked to help with operating our car washes and serving our customers. This will involve standing and/or moving for long periods of time in loud, wet, outdoor environments.

Base salary of $70,000 – $80,000 per year, plus 10% annual bonus at 100% of plan targets tied to company performance. Offer will depend on location and level of job-related knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience.
