Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Retail Sales Associate to join our team at a grocery store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to provide outstanding service and assist with product inquiries
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process transactions
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits
- Maintain and restock inventory on the sales floor
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register efficiently
- Assist in supervising and training new staff members
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries
- Utilize upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities

Skills
- Previous experience in retail sales is preferred
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Proficiency in using Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Ability to conduct product demos effectively
- Knowledge of stock management practices
- Experience with cash handling and operating a cash register
- Supervisory skills are a plus
- Excellent phone etiquette for customer interactions
- Proven ability in upselling products to customers

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
