Primary Responsibilities
- Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve satisfaction.
- Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools.
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies.
- Work with customer via phone or email to assist in spare parts sales.
- Respond swiftly and courteously to customer complaints or inquiries.
- Handle pricing and quoting spare parts sales.
- Correctly assessing customers’ needs by researching drawings and manuals.
- Capture customer information, including addresses and phone numbers, for future follow-up.
- Build rapport with customers through friendly, engaging communication.
- Submit inventory requests to Purchasing to maintain product availability levels.
- Work safely without presenting a direct threat to self or others.
- Compliance with all safety rules and guidelines.
- Strong work ethic and great attitude needed.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
- 2 years inside sales or manufacturing customer service experience (incoming call preferred).
- Excellent communication skills and accountability.
- Proficient computer skills needed for working with ERP systems, and Windows operating systems.
- Ability to read and comprehend engineering drawings, hydraulic & pneumatic drawings, and bill of materials a plus.
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening.
- Mechanical comprehension or aptitude a plus.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office skills.
