What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve group sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Identify potential clients and proactively generate leads through networking, industry events, and other sales initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and other key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling sales proposals, presentations, promotional materials, and campaigns.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, networking, and competitive activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Conduct site visits, and familiarization trips to showcase the property's amenities and services.
  • Negotiate and finalize group contracts, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for both the client and the property.
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and sales events to promote the hotel and establish professional networks.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to hotel management and stakeholders.
  • Work closely with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience that can lead to repeat business.
  • Train and mentor sales support to improve performance and achieve sales objectives.
  • Manage and update the hotel's presence on various sales channels, including online travel agencies and booking platforms.
  • Oversee the coordination of events and group bookings, ensuring client specifications are met.
  • Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools to track client engagement and sales activities.
  • Lead and motivate a team of sales support representatives, providing guidance, support, and coaching to maximize sales goals.

What You'll Bring Along

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Sales, Hospitality, or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years of experience of hospitality-based sales management experience, with a proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to accomplish all major responsibilities, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • High attention to detail and guest service.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Established relationships within the B2B hospitality industry, including design firms, hotel brands, hotel management companies, and purchasing firms.
  • Proven history utilizing sales tools specified for the hospitality industry.
  • A solid understanding of the hospitality industry, market dynamics, and customer needs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing market conditions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Results-driven mindset to meet goals and sales targets.
