Seeking a Sr. Data Governance Consultant with at least 10 yrs. of exp. in data analytics, data governance, or a similar role. to drive data-driven decision making across the group by implementing data governance & data analytics solutions.
Duration: through 6-30-25
Work location: Columbus (Hybrid) must currently reside in Ohio

Experience/duties:
-Assist in data governance framework implementation project(s), focusing on the execution of data governance framework & process, data intake, data management, data definition, data classification, data prioritization & the development of data ecosystem to ensure data quality, security, accessibility & interoperability.
-Assist mgt. in converting business challenges into data analysis initiatives. Overseeing the development of database structures, conducting data lifecycle analysis, data extraction & data mining & utilizing these insights in both traditional extracts & advanced data visualization tools.
-Work with cross-functional teams to identify & define data req s critical for informed decision-making. Engaging with various stakeholders to ensure seamless data exchange & integration with the platform.
-Develop & implement a data quality monitoring strategy to proactively identify, assess & remediate data inconsistencies & errors across the client s data ecosystem, data-related processes & governance documentation to support the data strategy. Guidelines & standards to ensure data quality, security & compliance.
-Proven exp. in implementing data governance framework. Strong analytical & problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
-Exp. with data visualization tools & techniques. Proficiency in SQL, data manipulation tools & data warehousing & data modeling concepts.

Education:
-Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, I.T., or a related field.
