We are looking for individuals who want to develop their claims career at a growing company that will appreciate your dedication and passion. If you have problem-solving and negotiation skills, you could be a fit for our claims team as a claims adjuster. We’re looking to train motivated applicants to become claims representative professionals to support our customers while independently managing claims and ensuring a swift resolution.

As a claims adjuster, you’ll learn how to help customers get back on the road after an accident. This is not a field position which means you’ll be building relationships with customers over the phone, in a fast-paced environment. You’ll learn how to efficiently resolve a heavy caseload while managing the claims process from start to finish. You’ll have the support of a collaborative team and ongoing coaching from leaders. We’ll also provide in-depth training on property damage and insurance contracts so you can confidently and independently adjust claims.

Duties & responsibilities

· Determine coverage

· Determine liability

· Obtain recorded statements of policyholders and other involved parties to the degree necessary to establish a liability determination.

· Partner with appraisers/estimators to manage vehicle repairs

· Negotiate with customers and other insurance carriers and resolve claims

-Determine most appropriate course for establishing extent of damages.

-Review damage appraisals for accuracy and payment

-Communicate claims procedures and process to involved parties verbally and in writing.

-Comply with all required reporting requirements, such as ISO, CMS, etc.

-Document activities in claim file notes in clear, complete & concise manner.

Must-have qualifications

· Bachelor's degree preferred

· 2 years of relevant work experience.

Work Experience should include:

· Auto Liability Claims handling

· Customer service

· Fast-paced and changing environment

· Multitasking and time management skills

· Effective verbal and written communication skills

· Computer Skills

· Schedule: Monday-Friday

Compensation

· $44,000 to $55,000 annually
