GDC is a full-service law firm with multiple offices in Florida seeking an energetic and detail-oriented condo/HOA attorney; litigation attorney and insurance defense attorney to join our firm. The ideal candidates will have a minimum of two to three years’ experience.

Condo/HOA Responsibilities include:

• Drafting and interpretation of governing documents;
• Attendance at Board and membership meetings;
• Reading and analyzing Chapter 718, Chapter 720, Chapter 617, and other applicable statutes and Florida Administrative Codes;
• Review and revision of vendor contracts, enforcement of covenants, and advisement in other aspects of community governance; and
• An understanding of the litigation process to effectively work with the handling litigators and manage other claims involving the association Assist at jury and bench trials.

Litigation Responsibilities include:

• Represent clients throughout the entire litigation process;
• Propound and respond to discovery;
• Prepare for and argue motions, including motions for summary judgment;
• Attend meditations and settlement conferences;
• Attend and take depositions; and
• Assist at jury and bench trials.

Salary will be commensurate with experience.

Qualifications:

• Possess the ability to draft legal documents with minimal instruction

• Ability to prioritize and multitask

• Personable and possesses excellent written, proofreading, and organizational skills

• Strong communication skills to interact with clients and opposing counsel

• Deadline and detail oriented

• Florida Bar License required
