Pay Range: $28.00 - $30.00/hour
Job Summary

The Receiving Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all materials and goods delivered to the campus are received physically and systemically per the Gold Flora SOPs in a timely and accurate manner. The Receiving Specialist works cross functionally with Cultivation, Lab, Distribution, and Supply Chain to move materials and goods to their proper storage areas, ensure PO, Invoice Delivery Manifest matching and maintain receiving records for compliance requirements. In addition, this role works with Supply Chain to assist in all Physical Inventory Activities, Cycle Counts and Audits. This role involves receiving, positioning, storing, and transporting large, palletized inventory and breaking down for internal entities which may require use of motorized equipment such as fork-lifts or scissor-lifts.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Offloads materials and goods that arrives on delivery trucks
• Performs counts upon delivery to ensure POs and manifests match physical count
• Moves and organizes materials and goods within the warehouse
• Scans and maintains files of all documentation for audit purposes
• Works closely with operational departments to plan for weekly deliveries and dept pick ups
• Supports the maintenance of inventory levels and movements
• Performs cycle counts of assigned inventory lots and locations.
• Keeps organized records of vehicles, schedules, and completed deliveries
• Ensures compliance with company policies and pertinent DCC Regulations
• Stays up-to-date with applicable safety regulations and ensures safety of those within the facility
• Assists Supply Chain in all Physical Inventory Activities and Audits
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate forklifts, cherry pickers, hand trucks and other warehousing equipment.
• Enough physical strength to lift heavy boxes weighing 50 pounds or more.
• Strong reading and critical thinking skills to carry out work orders.
• Organizational and project management skills are key.
• Microsoft Office proficient is essential and experience in ERPs is valued.
• Oral communication skills to effectively work alongside other member of the warehouse team.
• Enough physical stamina to remain upright and move during the entire duration of the shift.
• Effective listening to apply instructions from the manager.
• Thorough knowledge of warehouse safety and health standards
• Ability to work in the conditions of your warehouse, which may be hot, cold or noisy

Work Environment

• Operations: This position will work in an indoor manufacturing facility with controlled temperatures; may be exposed to bright lighting, loud equipment, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and working in proximity with staff and vendors.
• Must be able to travel to other local warehouse locations from time to time.

Job Requirements

• Work revolves around objectives, projects, and priorities, not hours; must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime as needed.
• Must be able to stand, walk, lift, sit, and bend for a majority of their work schedule.
• Ability to use computer and calculator for 8 hours or more.
• Required to have a valid driver's license with acceptable driving history. Must have own transportation.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
• Selected candidate will be required to complete a post offer, pre-employment background check with the local law enforcement or local Police Department.
