Gold Rush Cannabis Co is a multi-state operating cannabis company with vertical facilities in Missouri and beyond. We are seeking a highly-motivated and enthusiastic General Manager for our dispensary, The Heights Cannabis in Maryland Heights, Missouri. We are a fast-growing and fast-moving team with an incredible opportunity for expanded growth.

The general manager is responsible for:

• Management of all day-to-day operations of the dispensary in accordance with all Missouri regulations
• Handles all financial transactions and processes on a timely basis in accordance with standards and processes set forth by the Financial Services Specialist and/or management
• Scheduling, training, and growth of all managers and staff members
• Responds to all patient/customer complaints, requests, concerns, suggestions and acts, when necessary, to resolve conflicts
• Trains management team and hourly staff in conflict resolution according to SOP’s
• Prepare and control the store’s budget to minimize expenditures and maximize efficiency
• Oversee inventory and purchases to ensure they are within budget and minimize loss
• Work in tandem with sales team to ensure wholesale partnerships are maintained
• Direct and manage marketing standards and materials in conjunction with purchasing and marketing teams
• Maintain processes for patient experience, customer service, POS, and inventory handling practices
• Works directly with Director of IT to ensure all computers and electronic devices are working properly
• Assure quality control standards are strictly adhered to

Education, Experience, Eligibility, & Training

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess or ability to obtain a Missouri Agent Identification
• Minimum of two years of experience in a cannabis retail position with managerial responsibilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including Outlook, Excel, Word, & Teams)
• Proficiency with Missouri METRC systems and inventory controls
• Observes and adheres to regulatory, safety and security procedures
• Demonstrated ability to hire and effectively grow a team of managers and employees
• High level of organization and time management
• Must have ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Clear and concise communication and training skills

Recommended Knowledge and Skills

• Bachelors or Associate Degree (preferably in Business Administration, management, or a related field)
• Dutchie POS and back-end system knowledge
• Dispensary purchasing experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
