Gold Rush Express Delivery has been providing a same-day delivery service for over 35 years. We are a service-driven delivery/courier company that focuses on deliveries for the healthcare industry, banks, mail drop-offs, meal prep deliveries, office supplies, and more. We specialize in airline cargo drop-off and recovery.

Schedule Type:

Monday-Friday 09:00PM - 05:00PM

Part Time - Non-Exempt - Minimum work hours are from 20-35 hours per week

Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a company vehicle to deliver packages and goods to designated locations
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
- Load and unload packages and goods from the vehicle using appropriate equipment, such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or manual methods
- Ensure that all packages and goods are properly secured and protected during transportation
- Communicate with dispatchers or supervisors to receive delivery instructions or updates
- Collect necessary signatures or payment upon delivery, as required
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for each delivery
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, such as checking oil levels, tire pressure, and fuel levels

Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a courier or delivery driver is preferred
- Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems
- Ability to safely operate different types of vehicles, including vans, trucks, or tractor-trailers
- Proficiency in loading and unloading packages using equipment like pallet jacks or forklifts
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate delivery of packages or goods
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
