Summary :

The Administrative Assistant, QC TSS Integration Specialist is responsible for personnel, administrative, and quality assurance functions in support of the Army National Guard (ARNG) Soldiers attending Initial Active-Duty Training (IADT).

The position is assigned to provide immediate administrative support to ensure Soldiers are administratively correct and able to enter the training phase as scheduled.

The position is also assigned to provide quality assurance data pertinent to the RSP shipping process. The QC TSS Integration Specialist receives guidance from the Senior United States Army Training & Doctrine Command (TRADOC) Liaison at the training site and is under the direct supervision of the Recruit Sustainment Program Support Contract Senior Data Analyst.

The Administrative Assistant, QC TSS Integration Specialist plans and executes administrative, personnel, and quality assurance functions in support of Soldiers at IADT.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions :

  • Monitor Soldiers for potential administrative issues and make every effort to mitigate those issues.
  • Obtain critical administrative documents that are not present as required in the shipper packet or Vulcan application.
  • Report quality assurance data regarding RSP Soldier preparation (physical, mental, and administrative).
  • Communicate with RSP Support Contract Associates, IADT Manager and the RSP Support Contract Senior Data Analyst regarding IADT Soldier issues.
  • Maintain the Vulcan Database and perform daily input regarding Soldier actions and quality assurance.
  • Process and monitor TRADOC LNO Module Tickets in the Vulcan Application.
  • Provide doctrine relevant training input to the RSP Training Development team.
  • Vulcan Subject Matter Expert to locally assigned LNOs and supported training sites.
  • Standardize reporting of events in the Vulcan LNO Module.
  • Liaison with other TSSs to standardize reporting across training sites.
  • Provide Vulcan support / training to other training sites without an assigned TSS.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge :

  • Possess excellent interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Must be knowledgeable in Army National Guard enlisted programs and benefits.
  • Must have an intermediate knowledge of the Microsoft office suite.
  • Embody the Army Values and highest professional standards.
  • Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision, be exceedingly well organized and flexible.
  • Ability to interact with a wide variety of staff.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited school is preferred, however, an associate degree may be considered along with extensive relevant work experience managing ARNG RSP and related programs at the state and / or national level.
  • Minimum three (3) to five (5) years of experience in Recruiting and Retention and or / or Military Unit Administration is required.
  • Possess a current National Agency Check with Inquires (NACI) Investigation.
  • Must obtain and maintain any necessary security access and / or background checks.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Current or former US military service member with honorable discharge is preferred.
  • Former military experience in recruiting, retention, plans operations and training or all three is preferred.
  • Recruiting and Retention or Military Unit Administration is preferred.
