Goldbelt Security, LLC is Hiring a Remote Inside Sales Associate

Goldbelt Security is a products distribution and logistics company. Goldbelt Security provides a complete set of services and training to accompany the sale of all equipment. Goldbelt Security partners with a diverse array of trusted vendors to quickly deliver the products and services needed to fulfill customers' missions.
Summary:The Inside Sales Associate will be an integral member of the Sales Team of Goldbelt Security, LLC. This position will report to the Director of Sales and Services. The Inside Sales Support Associate provides direct support in the ongoing development of existing and prospective customers to ensure that the department can meet its growth targets. Develop account relationships and provide service support for customers. Manage and maintain accounts from initial order through job completion. The Associate will ensure proper discounts are applied to invoicing and become a centralized point of contact for all customer service inquiries. The Associate will work with the Goldbelt Security Team to generate quotes and ensure accurate data entry of all purchase orders, accounts payable, and account receivables.
ResponsibilitiesEssential Job Functions:
  • Standardize Purchase Orders to vendors and verify discounts where applicable.
  • Submit Purchase Orders (PO) and verify vendor invoices match PO.
  • Maintain accurate information on special conditions of purchase (restrictions, countries, product specifications, etc.).
  • Coordinate and assist in trade show schedules/meetings).
  • Help customers select products based on the customers' needs, product specifications.
  • Emphasize product features based on analyses of demand, product knowledge, capabilities and limitations.
  • Respond to customers' requests for pricing, availability, and product uses and creative ideas, and samples.
  • Prepare quotations according to bid specifications, with accurate configurations.
  • Coordinate order flow with production and secure best ship method to meet customer due dates.
  • Follow up with customers to make sure they are satisfied with their purchases and to answer any questions or concerns.
  • Support sales efforts such as attending an exhibit if necessary.
  • Keep management informed of activity, including timely correspondence through emails and calls.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Ensure quoted price matches purchase orders and invoices.
  • Ensure Dealer of Records are applied appropriately
  • Review backorders and Past Due deliveries (provide updates).
  • Contact vendor with any receiving discrepancies.
  • Provide bid research assistance to Sales staff.
  • Develop and maintain vendor files, price lists, terms and conditions, and point of contacts.
  • Maintain record of Dropship orders and expedite customer invoices to A/R.
  • Provide reporting as requested (deliver, dropship, pricing).
  • Manage all product sample requests and follow up.
  • Review and manage return issues.
  • Support the negotiating and contracting processes with sales team.
  • Provide routine updates on purchase order status and backorders.
  • Provide timely feedback and input to Goldbelt Sales Team to allow them to make informed decisions about markets, opportunities, customers, and vendors.
  • Interface and effectively communicate with management team, staff, and customers
  • Answer incoming calls and other receptionist duties as required.
  • Quote generation (Data Entry) when provided the information from Sales Team.
  • Learn CostPoint from start to finish - Entering Part Numbers, entering a sales order, Purchase Order, Receiving and Invoicing.
QualificationsNecessary Skills and Knowledge:
  • Assist in cooperation and collaboration with other divisions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Strong skills including demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross functional management without formal reporting relationships.
  • Proficiency in MS Office with expertise in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat, and any other Sales CRM’s.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Four (4) year degree in Business, Sales, Organizational Management, or a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum two (2) or more years’ experience in related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Pay And BenefitsSalary Range: $50,000 - 60,000 annually.
