TITLE : Director of Surveillance

REPORTS TO : Executive Director

SUPERVISES : Surveillance Personnel

Hourly pay : $18.00 / hr for the first 90 days, $20.00 / hr after 90-day probation period

Summary :

Oversees the surveillance department by reviewing the activities of Surveillance personnel and analyzing the reports to ensure an effective and productive department.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

• Responsible for overseeing surveillance of all gaming activity to ensure adherence to management policies & procedures, NIGC-MICS, Internal Controls, Kickapoo Tribe in Kansas Gaming Ordinance and Commission Ordinance, Kickapoo Tribe in Kansas-Kansas State Gaming compact, and applicable laws.
• Other duties as assigned.

Authority and Supervisory Capacity :

Possesses the authority needed to accomplish the above. Hire and terminate Surveillance personnel.

Access to Sensitive Areas :

Possesses the authority needed to accomplish the above. Surveillance Monitor Room.

Education and / or Experience :

• Two years surveillance experience.
• College degree or equivalent experience in a management position.
• Professional appearance.
• Native American preference.
• Must be able to obtain a Category I gaming license.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
