Golden King Transport Inc is Hiring a Bookkeeper Near Los Angeles, CA
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. We are a 3PL and Transportation company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining the integrity of our financial systems. This role requires proficiency in accounting software and technical accounting principles.
Duties:
- Prepare and maintain accurate and timely financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Process and record journal entries, including debits and credits, to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Perform account reconciliations, including bank and government accounts, to identify discrepancies and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Utilize financial software, including Sage, to manage and analyze financial data.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, including documentation and supporting materials.
- Conduct technical accounting reviews to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Provide financial support to management by preparing financial reports and analyzing financial data.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
Experience:
- 3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proven experience with accounting software, including Sage.
- Strong understanding of financial software, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and technical accounting principles.
- Experience with governmental accounting is preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High-level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in 10-key typing is a must.
- Certification in accounting or bookkeeping is an asset.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
