Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Drayage / OTR Dispatcher. Knowledgeable of Long Beach and Los Angeles Ports and Terminal requests. Contact with Owner Operators for Ports. Knowledgeable of Cost for delivery to various cities. OTR knowledge. Able to log onto Load Board and Post Loads or look for trucks.

Responsibilities:
- Dispatch freight and coordinate transportation activities
- Utilize GPS and AS400 systems to track shipments and provide real-time updates to customers
- Collaborate with carriers, drivers, and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery of goods
- Use transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management to optimize routes and improve efficiency
- Analyze data and reports to identify trends, resolve issues, and make informed decisions
- Assist customers with inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional and timely manner
- Provide accurate information regarding shipment status, delivery schedules, and pricing
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions

Experience:
- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred
- Knowledge of dispatching, freight, and 3PL (third-party logistics) operations is a plus
- Familiarity with GPS tracking systems, AS400, and transportation management software is beneficial
- Strong analytical skills to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Proficiency in GIS (Geographic Information System) software for transportation planning is an advantage
