Golden Nugget is Hiring a HR Supervisor - Employment/Compensation Near Las Vegas, NV

Overview:

HR Supervisor - Employment/Compensation

It is the responsibility of the HR Supervisor Employment to ensure employment functions are operating efficiently and professionally. Support the needs of the business by leveraging knowledge of data and system architecture, HR policies, analytic capabilities, and understanding of the core business.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise duties performed by the Employment/Compensation Team.
  • Assist in New Hire Processing where appropriate, processing paperwork and documentation, preparing packets and following up with new employees to ensure attendance.
  • Monitor and maintain requisitions in the applicant tracking system.
  • Run and send employee licensing report and follow up with Department Heads to ensure employees are compliant with licensing requirements.
  • Routinely execute quality audits of data, systems and processes to ensure data integrity, continuity and process control across HR modules, platforms, and systems such as talent management, benefits, and payroll.
  • Interact with department heads to ensure the employment needs of the department are being met.
  • Enter and maintain employee information in HRIS Oracle system.
  • Process Personal Action Notices in HRIS Oracle system.
Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Strong public speaking ability.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, administrative, multi-tasking, organization and prioritization skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), fluent English and articulate
  • Ability to work efficiently, independently and cohesively, consistently producing quality results
  • Knowledgeable in MS Office programs (Word and Excel).

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • 6 months 1 year of Human Resources experience
  • Minimum age requirement is 21
  • Must be able to successfully register with the NV Gaming Control Board
