Our direct client is hiring a Programmer.

The Position:

The Programmer is responsible for designing, building, testing, implementing, maintaining, and decommissioning information systems. Responsibilities in this role will include:

  • Application Design & Development - Research, design, and develop applications to input, store, retrieve, and report data using C#, VB.Net, ASP.Net, VBA, JavaScript, SQL, HTML, XML, JSON and other development tools as recommended by the organization. This includes interviewing users to identify the scope of the applications, documenting, and flowcharting, integrating applications into the network environment, testing the product before implementation, and writing necessary procedures.
  • Project Management - Confirms project requirements by reviewing program objectives, input data, and output requirements with analysts, supervisors, and clients. Arrange project requirements in a programming sequence by analyzing requirements; prepare documentation of workflow, subject matter, programming language, and logic when necessary.
  • Servicing System - Create and maintain mission-critical scripts using Attachmate Reflection for IBM and VBA to streamline and automate screen-based transactions. The use of Reflection requires a working knowledge of SQL as well as good familiarity with 3270 terminal emulations. Includes working with Business units for requirements definition, documentation, joint testing of functionality, and traceability of requirements.

Top skills you need to have:

  • Must be able to obtain a 6C security clearance
  • A minimum of 2 years in technical design and development using scripting and SQL.
  • Experience with VBA, VB.Net, C#, and ASP.Net. .
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information Systems from a four-year college or university.
