Job Summary:
As the Assistant General Manager of Sales and Service you will play a pivotal role in supporting the overall operations and success of our organization. You will assist in overseeing various aspects of the business to ensure efficiency, profitability, and exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
Overseeing day-to-day sales, monitoring, and forecasting.
Provides sales and marketing training to all qualified sales staff.
Developing and researching marketing opportunities and sales strategies
Cultivate and deepen client relationships and partnerships.
Gains knowledge and experience in all technology platforms to achieve a high level of competence in bookings, class scheduling, reporting and administrative functions.
Supervise and lead a team to achieve operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Communicate effectively with staff, management, and customers to ensure smooth daily operations.
Assist in purchasing decisions to maintain adequate inventory levels and meet customer demands.
Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll processing, and maintaining records.
Support marketing initiatives to drive sales growth and expand market reach.
Implement strategies for effective inventory control and optimize stock levels.
Collaborate with the General Manager on strategic planning and goal setting for the business.
Skills:
- Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with employees, customers, and vendors effectively.
- Proficiency in administrative tasks including payroll processing and record keeping.
- Familiarity with POS systems for managing sales transactions.
- Experience in conducting interviews and providing training to staff members.
- Knowledge of market trends to support business growth initiatives.
- Ability to implement effective inventory control measures to minimize losses.
- Background in retail sales or related industry is a plus.
