POSITION DESCRIPTION Title : Pool Operations Coordinator (POC) Reports To : Assistant General Manager FLSA Status : Non-exempt Direct Reports : Deck Supervisors Job Summary :
Oversee the quality and success of all pool and swim lesson operations : Maintain expert-level knowledge of the Goldfish Swim School curriculumManage Deck Supervisors, Swim Instructors and all other on-deck staffDeliver excellent swim lesson experiences based on the GSS curriculum and strong communications with students and parents / guardiansFacilitate excellent shift flow (huddles, teacher rotation, etc.
and sub when neededMaintain the pool environment and ensure compliance with our operational standards (roster management, cleaning checklists, etc)Monitor proper class placements and adjust class capacity to optimize efficiencies
- Develop staff through onboarding and ongoing training, holding them to high standards and improving their performance
- Act as a GSS ambassador to ensure a WOW customer experience and Make People Happy

Education / Experience :
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2 years as a swim instructor preferred
- Experience as a youth sports instructor / coach, camp counselor and / or teacher preferred
Certificates & Licenses : CPR / AED, First Aid and Ellis Lifeguarding certifications required. Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification required.
Training will be provided. Work Environment : The employee will be regularly exposed to heat and humidity. Noise level is usually moderate.
Minimum required availability : 4 days per week including 2 week nights and 1 weekend day. Compensación : $20.00 per hour
