I'm partnered with a Proprietary HFT Firm in NYC looking for a Junior developer to join their agile team.

As a Junior Trading Systems Developer, you will play a critical role in the development, maintenance, and enhancement of their trading systems. You will work closely with senior developers, traders, and other stakeholders to ensure their systems operate with optimal performance and reliability. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, development, and implementation of low latency trading systems and related applications.
• Support and maintain existing trading systems, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently.
• Conduct thorough testing of trading systems to identify and fix bugs, and to ensure robustness and reliability.
• Work closely with traders, quantitative analysts, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Monitor the performance of trading systems and optimize them for low latency and high throughput.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in C , Python & Linux
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 2 years professional experience in a Hedge Fund, Trading firm or Investment Bank is essential.
• Understanding of networking, low-latency systems, and high-frequency trading principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
