Equity Structuring is currently seeking a Senior Associate or Vice President to work as part of the Structured Notes Portfolio Management team to support the existing business, assist with the implementation of various growth initiatives, and maintain portfolio management responsibilities of a separately managed account notes program.

PWM
Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management (PWM) specializes in creating comprehensive wealth management plans for high net worth individuals and families, as well as select institutions, including foundations and endowments. PWM Teams work one-on-one with clients to advise and deliver customized strategies drawn from our deep investment experience, diverse wealth management capabilities and global reach. Our Private Wealth Advisors (PWAs) deliver an unparalleled investment platform inclusive of the full product and service offerings of Goldman Sachs and beyond, which may include tax and estate planning, philanthropic planning and private banking and lending services. As client needs evolve, this close relationship allows the team to offer complementary services and new opportunities by leveraging the resources of Goldman Sachs and beyond.
The Equity Structuring group (EQS) sits within Private Wealth Management (PWM) and delivers tailored and holistic equity-based solutions to global wealth management and cross-divisional clients through customized structuring and execution services. EQS provides clients with single stock risk management expertise and thematic investment opportunities across a variety of implementation vehicles such as public equity trades, listed options, structured notes, and over-the-counter (OTC) derivatives on both an agency and principal basis.
The Structured Notes (SN) team sits within the Equity Structuring group and works with private wealth advisors to develop customizable structured investments tailored to meet a specific investors objectives. SN manages a discretionary portfolio of notes within separately managed accounts (SMA) for PWM and external clients, providing a full suite of structured note lifecycle management.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
You will work as part of the Structured Notes Portfolio Management team. You will play a direct and key role in the execution, risk management, and trade idea generation of customized structured notes for private wealth clients as well as portfolio management responsibilities of the Beta program. Beta is a discretionary, managed structured notes stategy offered to both private wealth clients and third-party networks. The Portfolio Management team is responsible for building and maintaining a portfolio of structured investments in SMA format. Additionally, you will work closely with engineering, strats, legal, and marketing teams on a daily basis to evolve and grow the business.
