The Strategic and Quantitative Asset Allocation group (SQAA) in the Investment Strategy Group is seeking an Associate to work on the Systematic Wealth Transfer strategy, which helps Private Wealth Managements high-net-worth clients with efficient wealth transfer. Highly qualified Analysts and Vice Presidents will also be considered.

In addition to working on the Systematic Wealth Transfer strategy, the new team member may also help with client solutions projects and investment-related research. SQAA is an innovative and dynamic team, and this role requires patience, creativity, ability to multitask, attention to detail, as well as interpersonal and problem solving skills.

PWM

Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management (PWM) specializes in creating comprehensive wealth management plans for high net worth individuals and families, as well as select institutions, including foundations and endowments. PWM Teams work one-on-one with clients to advise and deliver customized strategies drawn from our deep investment experience, diverse wealth management capabilities and global reach. Our Private Wealth Advisors (PWAs) deliver an unparalleled investment platform inclusive of the full product and service offerings of Goldman Sachs and beyond, which may include tax and estate planning, philanthropic planning and private banking and lending services. As client needs evolve, this close relationship allows the team to off r complementary services and new opportunities by leveraging the resources of Goldman Sachs and beyond.

Investment Strategy Group (ISG) The Investment Strategy Group (ISG) within PWM has responsibility for strategic and tactical asset allocation views and advice for the firms high net worth clients and certain institutions. The role of an ISG member requires a broad set of qualities, including a passion for investing, client servicing, as well as strong analytical and communication skills.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Professional experience working with Grantor Retained Annuity Trusts (GRATs)
• Solid Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Excellent communication skills, especially the ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms
• Strong interpersonal skills and a passion to engage with clients
• Attention to detail, patience, and ability to handle multiple concurrent projects
• Collaborative and teamwork-oriented
• Independent, logical, and critical thinking, with the willingness to constantly think outside of the box
• FINRA SIE, Series 7, and Series 63 licenses (may be obtained within the first 3 months if needed)
• Minimum Bachelors degree (U.S. or equivalent)
