Consumer & Wealth Management Division:

Across Consumer and Wealth Management (CWM), Goldman Sachs helps empower clients and customers around the world reach their financial goals. Our advisor-led wealth management businesses provide financial planning, investment management, banking and comprehensive advice to a wide range of clients, including ultra-high net worth and high net worth individuals, as well as family offices, foundations and endowments, and corporations and their employees. Our consumer business provides digital solutions for consumers to better spend, borrow, invest and save. Across CWM, our growth is driven by a relentless focus on our people, our clients and leading-edge technology, data and design.

Wealth Management

Goldman Sachs Wealth Management is comprised of Private Wealth Management (PWM), Personal Financial Management (PFM) and Ayco, a Goldman Sachs Company. PWM serves ultra high-net-worth individuals, families, family offices and nonprofit institutions as a trusted advisor. In 2019, Goldman Sachs acquired United Capital (newly branded PFM), which serves high net-worth individuals across 30 states in 100 offices in the United States. Ayco works with corporate partners to provide their employeesacross all wealth levelsa path to financial well-being through personalized financial counseling, investment management and family office services. Across Wealth Management, we help clients achieve their holistic goals by providing access to our insights, expertise and network.

How will you fulfill your potential?

You will:

• Collaborate with globally-located cross functional team in building customer-centric products
• Analyze existing software implementations to identify areas of improvement and provide estimates for implementing new features
• Follow standard software development guidelines and best practices
• Create and maintain test plans, documentation and automated testing routines for all technical changes
• Grow technical skillset by seeking out cross-training and knowledge advancement opportunities

You are:

• Energetic, self-directed and self-motivated, able to build and sustain long-term relationships with clients and colleagues
• Open minded when approaching problem solving within the context of a team
• analytical, with an ability to apply knowledge and experience in decision-making to arrive at creative and client-oriented solutions

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Computer Science or related field
• 4 years of experience with Java or other related Object Oriented development language
• Experience with Javascript frameworks (Angular, Typescript, ReactJS)
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3 and CSS preprocessors (SASS, LESS)
• Experience writing SQL queries
• Experience writing unit tests
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to establish trusted partnerships with product heads

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of XML and JSON
• Source Control Management systems (i.e., SVN, Git)
• An understanding of common application architecture design patterns (i.e., MVC, MVVM)
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Experience working within a content management system
• Experience in the Adobe Marketing Cloud suite (i.e., Experience Manager, Marketo, Campaign, Analytics)
