Job Description
Position: Facility Manager
Golds Gyms of the Carolinas is growing fast and looking for a new Facilities Manager! Well challenge your skills, talents, and abilities and reward your every success.
  • Hires, trains, supervises, coaches, and evaluates maintenance staff.
  • Develops and maintains a productive maintenance team through well-structured training and mentoring programs that communicate the Companys strategies and business objectives.
  • Ordering of all equipment parts, sanitary supplies, maintenance supplies, and related items using the Company approved purchase order system.
  • Keeps in compliance with and abreast of all OSHA regulations.
  • Ensures a high level of customer service.
  • Initiate maintenance and safety programs for a variety of facility equipment
  • Be responsible for the preventative maintenance of machinery including HVAC.
  • Keep compliant and aware of all changes with regulatory agencies like OSHA.
  • Demonstrate awareness and knowledge of all emergency procedures.
  • Manage all aspects of the buildings, exterior grounds, equipment, inventory overall facility.
  • Process and oversee deliveries.
  • Plan and schedule facility modifications, including cost estimates for the facility.
  • Pool Maintenance/Pool operator experience preferred.

The employee must occasionally lift and or move up to 50 pounds.
