We are Yamaha's largest golf car distribution company in the country. We are in need of a responsible and self motivated Road Service Technician to support our customers in Frederick, Gaithersburg, Gettysburg, Hagerstown and surrounding areas. The successful candidates must be flexible, have a strong attention to detail and must be self motivated. The job consists, but is not limited to:

• Maintaining and repairing golf cars and utility vehicles at area golf courses on a weekly basis.
• Providing call in service to golf courses, individuals and commercial business which primarily consists of diagnostics and repair.

Gold Plus

• Very little management or oversight required.
• The ability to diagnose AND repair both gas AND electric vehicles.
• Completes work timely and accurately. Quick and thorough.
• Communicates with customers when they arrive, when they leave and summarize the work performed. Submit paperwork in a timely manner with CUSTOMER SIGNATURES.
• Maintains an accurate van inventory.

Gold

• Requires some management or oversight on maintenance decisions, quality of work, and how to perform the task required.
• Possesses high skill level in EITHER gas or electric, but not both.
• Work is performed quickly but not thorough or is thorough but slow. These traits are because of experience and knowledge NOT because of effort.

Silver

• Apprentice type.
• Can complete simple tasks like brakes, tires, body replacement, batteries, full service.
• Quick – parts replacement person/not diagnostic. Needs management, training and someone to review completed work.

Regardless of level, the candidates must have VERY GOOD communication skills, have an ability to work independently and display simple computer skills. You will be home every night and no weekend work. Requirements include: clean driving record and your own tools (specialty tools will be provided as needed).

Full time employment includes: paid vacations, profit sharing, overtime, company supported health insurance, van inventory bonus, travel credit card, company cell phone (if needed), Ipad and service van.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
