The Company
Goliath Partners was founded in 2023 as the 8th company in a $50M VC staffing portfolio and the only business in the portfolio to focus on trading and financial markets. We were built to scale with our clients, and our vision is to become the leading provider of software professionals in our space. Thus far, we have accomplished extraordinary revenue in a short time, allowing us to hire several new team members.
We are currently scaling up our Miami office and plan to establish ourselves in New York and Asia in the next two years. If you are looking to join us in Miami, the option to build something in either location next year is on the table. Alternatively, working out of our investor’s office in London is an option.
The Role
The US Financial market is the fastest growing and most lucrative, and we are market leaders in developing Graduates into successful recruitment consultants to take full advantage of the world’s most competitive industry.
Once settled in, the key responsibilities of the role are:
Digital Research – Develop an in-depth understanding of the USA recruitment market. You will be reaching out to senior level people via LinkedIn and making introductions where appropriate to the Executive Search team.
Headhunting – Over time you will learn how to headhunt. Headhunting is an art and once mastered, it is a very powerful skill. The transition from building relationships on LinkedIn to building relationships in-person is a key milestone in this role.
Account Management – You will start to work directly with clients to help execute their talent strategy. Those people you have headhunted over the last 6 months will be relevant for new roles at our existing and new clients. You’ll build relationships with existing clients and help to manage interview processes.
Client Development - You will naturally develop your own client relationships, win projects and manage them end-to-end, earning commission on every completed project.
There are several different ways to progress within the organization. You will eventually be able to manage teams, work more closely with the investment team, or even start your own aligned business unit. This career is best suited for entrepreneurs.
