Goliath is Hiring a Sr. Graphic Designer, Board Games Near Richardson, TX

Goliath Games, a top-tier toy and game company, is looking for someone awesome to ideate, design and develop the next great toys and games. This position will work with the Games Division of a robust global R&D team in the development of brand-new products. We are searching for a talented Graphic Designer with 5 years of experience to design packaging and components for games that are trendy, visually appealing and FUN TO PLAY! Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Design artwork for game packaging, instruction manuals, game boards, display graphics, POP, trade shows, and more with minimal supervision
Make required revisions to designs based on feedback from stakeholders in a timely manner
Research and develop packaging and product designs for items within a specified market
Create dielines using templates or adjust dielines to fit non-standard box sizes
Ensure that all layouts are error-free and include proper imagery, product descriptions, logos, legal lines, and copy prior to sending to factory
Preflight and package your own artwork
Ability to simultaneously work on a variety of projects with shifting deadlines while staying in constant contact with Art Director and Project Managers to ensure key due dates are hit
Flexibility to change direction on projects mid-way through with ease
Stay on top of current trends in packaging, toys, games, entertainment and pop culture
Requirements Required experience:
5 years job experience
5 years Illustrator
5 years Photoshop
2 years InDesign
5 years production/design experience in an agency, studio or in-house setting
Ability to design at a mid to senior level
Creative Suite proficiency, specifically in Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
Layout and typography experience
Excellent file and folder management skills
Ability to have same-day deliverables for urgent needs
Preferred experience:
Prepress and file handling experience
Dieline experience
Licensor style guide experience
Consumer packaging design
Logo design
Illustration or 3D skills are a huge plus
Experience with global brands
Large format experience
Photo editing
Comfortable on a MAC platform
Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design
