Summary
Leads and directs laboratory personnel whose primary responsibilities are the collection and testing of specimens in order to provide physicians timely accurate lab test results. Oversees a wide variety of administrative and technical activities; responsible for revenue and operating budgets and a personnel staff. Works closely with Pathologists. Insures compliance with regulations/standards and maintains accreditations and licensures. Demonstrates commitment and accountability for implementation, communication, and monitoring of all functions of the Laboratory.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Clinical Lab Science or one of the chemical or biological sciences OR MBA
Desired: Master’s degree in Management & Supervision with a
B.S. degree in Medical Technology
FL State Clinical laboratory supervisors license
