We are a Christian school in immediate need of a cafeteria manager.
We participate in the NSLP.
Requirements are but not limited to:
· Candidate will have a strong Christian testimony.
· Be able to work from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.
· Love working with a diverse student population.
· Understand the procedures and requirements of the NSLP.
· Gathers appropriate vendor bids.
· Assures the appropriate quantity of food to be ordered.
· Serves food using proper preparation techniques.
· Makes sure the appropriate amount of each food group is being served.
· Completes and submits proper paperwork accurately and on time to the NSLP.
· Ensures all health department regulations are being met.
· Ensures the school is meeting state licensing requirements.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, cafeteria, and storage areas.
· Training and supervising cafeteria staff.
· Adheres to uniform and personal hygiene requirements.
Qualifications:
· At least 3 years school kitchen experience
· Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience in a school food managerial role.
· Must pass Level II background check.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
