Major Duties: Leadership
- Responsible for oversig h t of all aspects of daytime clinical program .
- Collaborate and partner with DOE Guidance Staff to support BLHS school culture and administrative practices .
- F acilitate professional development for DOE staff as needed.
- Provide leadership in weekly DOE Guidance Meetings and serve as point person for all of GSS’ clinical work .
- Build relationships and actively collaborate with community stakeholders .
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and supervise full-time social worker and Master’s in S ocial W ork interns
- C onnect participants to other GSS programs and services as needed .
- As needed, maintain a small caseload of students for individual and group counseling.
- Handle case-related crises with professionalism, urgency, and care, including incidents involving reports to the State Central Registry, and communicate with DOE staff throughout the process.
- Provide crisis intervention in collaboration with DOE social worker .
- Facilitate weekly group supervision for mental health team to promote professional growth and create an environment that fosters peer support and collaboration .
- Provide weekly supervision to each social work intern and the full-time social worker to support each team member in striving for excellence in their clinical and administrative work .
- Maintain clear and concise documentation of all services provided and oversee data entry into Salesforce and Mental Health Portal database by MSW interns.
- Ensure that adequate safety and risk assessments are conducted during crisis situations that arise , including GSS incident reports.
- Complete all documentation for social work interns including educational plans and evaluations .
- LCSW preferred, LMSW required; Eligibility or willingness to take Seminar in Field Instruction course .
- Two years of supervisory experience required .
- Bilingual - English/Spanish preferred .
- Must have strong organizational, administrative, interpersonal, and clinical skills .
- Must have a commitment to work from a strength based, trauma-informed & youth and family development perspective .
